Upgrade your veterinary practice with the Portable CO2 Cutting Laser Surgical System. This advanced system offers precise soft tissue surgery, user-friendly controls, and a flexible articulated arm. Experience enhanced surgical procedures with this portable veterinary laser system.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) lasers have become the standard for performing veterinary surgery. Providing the ideal wavelength (10.6 μm) for all soft tissue surgery, the CO2 laser increases precision and reduces bleeding, swelling, pain and tissue trauma.
The CO2 laser, with a specific wavelength of 10.6um can be absorbed by patient body tissue (no matter what color the skin is) almost 100%, with the laser slightly passing through the skin. It is the heat and electromagnetic effect of the laser that people use to conduct non-blood or bloodless cutting, cauterizing, gasification and accurate microsurgery. Most optical knives use CO2 laser source.
The CO2 laser surgical system is the latest microprocessor-controlled instrument based on a sealed-off CO2 laser providing up to 1 SW output power on body tissue. It is easy and safe to operate.

CO2 Laser and Compound Light Source – The compound light consists of sealed-off CO2 laser tube, a light intensity detector, a diode laser and a beam combiner. The beam combiner combines CO2 laser beam and beam diode laser beam coaxially and guides them into the articulated arm beam delivery system. The active medium is a mixture of CO2 and other compound gases.
Main Control Panel – The microprocessor-based main panel is used to control all functions by touching the thin film switch. Time and power are displayed digitally, which is clear and accurate.
Laser Cooling System – The laser cooling system is a closed circulating loop. The coolant (distilled water or ion water} is circulated by a pump.
Articulated Arm – The laser beam delivery system consists of a lightweight, spring-balanced, 7-joint articulated arm. The working radius of the articulated arm at full extension is 3.6 feet.
Foot Switch – A footswitch is used to control laser output. When the footswitch is pressed, the shutter opens and laser emits from the articulated arm.
Declaws – Scalpel blade or a nail trimmer is the traditional way of declaws, that was painful and time consuming. Laser surgery to declaw will make cats have little pain.
Ear Hematoma – One of the CO2 laser features, selectively and gently going through layers of tissue, makes the CO2 laser excellent for ear hematoma due to the small opening needed to drain the fluid.
Skin Tumor – Laser can completely ablate the small tumors lesion and make pets have less discomfort during the recovering time.
Dog Neuter – CO2 laser can also treat dog neuters due to the advantages of minimal bleeding and less pain.
Amputation – CO2 laser is particularly good at amputations. Minimal bleeding during the laser surgery allows the surgery to perform much faster.
